Fellowship program of the Polish National Commission for UNESCO
The scholarship program is aimed at university graduates, primarily from Eastern and Central Europe, as well as developing countries, particularly from Africa, Asia, South America, and the Arab world. The program is coordinated by the Polish National Commission for UNESCO and implemented at Polish universities, funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, through the National Agency for Academic Exchange.
Scholarships are available to university graduates who intend to pursue and participate in research projects and study at Polish public universities supervised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
Acceptance of the scholarship and academic supervision must be confirmed by the university in the scholarship application. To apply for the scholarship program, candidates should contact the universities where they wish to pursue their scholarships directly. Scholarship applications are submitted to the Polish National Commission for UNESCO by the universities.
The scholarship program is implemented by the UNESCO AGH Chair (AGH University of Kraków). The scholarship program is focused on science, technology, and engineering. Scholarship topics should be aligned with UNESCO and AGH University of Krakow program priorities. The goal of the scholarship program is to enable students and scientists from developing countries to conduct research projects at several faculties of the AGH University of Kraków. The program contributes to the development of international cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and experience between research institutions in developing countries and Polish universities. Scholarship recipients pursue their scholarships under the supervision of a researcher from the host university. Scholarships are awarded for one semester each. Candidate recruitment is conducted by the UNESCO AGH Chair in collaboration with the Polish National Commssion for UNESCO.
